Jackpot is dedicated to sustainable fashion and supports farmers committed to using organic growing methods. This year about 15% of our collections are produced in 100% organically grown cotton – and the assortment of organic clothing is growing. The organic cotton we use is grown using natural crop protection and organic fertilizers.

Even though cotton itself is natural, countless quantities of pesticides and fertilisers are often used to cultivate it. Chemicals which are harmful to the earth, the atmosphere and all the people involved. To make matters worse, pesticides are expensive. They contribute to the deterioration of the soil, which means that farmers have to spend even more money to produce their crops – and provide for their families. As a result, they often end up in a financial emergency. By helping them convert to organic farming, avoiding the use of chemicals, Jackpot helps them get out of this debt spiral.
